Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and experienced painter/prepper to join our team. As a Painter, you will be responsible for applying paint, varnishes, and other finishes to various surfaces. Your attention to detail and knowledge of different painting techniques will ensure high-quality results. Duties: - Prepare surfaces for painting by removing old paint, filling holes, and repairing any damages - Mix and match paint colors to achieve desired shades - Apply paint, varnish, or other finishes using brushes, rollers, or spray guns - Use airless paint spraying equipment for large-scale projects - Follow instructions to determine the scope of work - Collaborate with other team members to complete projects within deadlines - Clean and maintain painting tools and equipment - Ensure compliance with safety regulations and use protective gear when necessary. Qualifications: - Proven experience as a Painter or similar role - Strong knowledge of different painting techniques and materials - Proficiency in using painting tools and equipment - Ability to follow instructions accurately - Excellent attention to detail and precision in work - Physical stamina to stand, bend, and lift heavy objects as required - Good communication skills to collaborate effectively with team members Skills: - Build: Experience in building structures or frameworks as part of painting projects. - Stucco: Familiarity with stucco application and repair techniques. - Restore: Ability to restore surfaces by removing old paint or repairing damage. - Carpenter: Basic carpentry skills for minor repairs or modifications during painting projects. - Airless paint spraying: Experience in using airless paint spraying equipment for efficient coverage. - Maintenance Person: General maintenance person skills for minor maintenance tasks related to painting projects. - Plaster: Knowledge of plaster application techniques for smooth and even surfaces. Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $16.50 - $22.50 per hour
Expected hours: 32 – 45 per week
